Once the rain paused, we headed out for a brisk autumn walk through the park. Our Shar Pei Pup was in his element, trotting happily through the fallen leaves under the trees.
After our park walk, we made a quick stop by the beach to check out the stormy shoreline. Watching the waves splash against the driftwood was so grounding, but our Shar Pei Prince was not having the windy weather! He made it very clear that his park outing was plenty and it was time to retreat back to comfort.
We headed straight home so our royalty could burrow into his favorite cozy blankets. Seeing him curl up into a happy little squish-ball and drift off into a deep rain-day nap was the absolute best end to our afternoon.
