There is something deeply grounding about walking along the shoreline after the tide recedes. Today’s coastal beachcombing walk yielded some of the most captivating naturally tumbled beach stones we’ve found in a long time!
From deep polished dark tones with striking white quartz veining to intricate mottled unakite-like green-and-orange patterns, these raw, wet treasures look like little galaxies resting on the shore. Each band and stripe tells a story of years smoothed over by the patient rhythm of the waves.
Further down the beach, nestled quietly among bleached driftwood and sea grass, stood a classic wooden longboard leaning against a weathered cedar root. Framing the wide-open blue sky and gentle waves, it felt like stepping right into a vintage island dream—a reminder of slow living, salt air, and listening to the ocean’s pace.
