A quick run to the local farm for fresh eggs turned into one of those spontaneous autumn afternoons that just feeds the soul.
Cruising down the back roads with the evening sky shifting into warm, moody gold, we caught sight of a falcon perched high on a line against the sunset. There’s always something magical about spotting a raptor in the wild—just a quiet, grounding moment that makes you stop and take it all in.
We’ve been craving fresh pears, and the farm did not disappoint. We brought home a harvest of gorgeous, sweet pears, but the best part was finding the ultimate display spot for Aloura’s freshly painted owl rock, “Gabo”—a special stone we found that already had the natural shape of an owl face. He fit right into the fruit pedestal like he’d been waiting for those warm autumn tones his whole life.
Nothing beats local farm runs, wild bird sightings, and bringing a little extra art into everyday home moments.
