While looking for Sea Glass on Port Townsend Glass Beach we came across this Seal Pup. We called the Marine Science Center that rescues stranded animals on the beach and were told to build a small barrier around the pup so the other folks hunting for Sea Glass would keep their distance. We spent about an hour watching the Pup from a distance while the folks from the Marine Science Center arrived to take over the Stranded Pup. It was such fun to watch the pup finally lay down to sleep. Glass Beach in Port Townsend is such a special beach. It is a 4 mile hike to get to the actual Glass Beach from the parking lot but so worth it!
