“Ancient Butterfly Wings” I love to watch butterflies land on all the Butterfly Bushes in our Garden, but as I was watching the stunning creatures, I found myself asking what an ancient butterfly would look like and this painting is what those thoughts created.
I was inspired to create Air Dragon while sailing on our local Ferry from Port Townsend to Whidbey Island. Watching the beautiful clouds that floated above me I could almost see a Dragon Shaped cloud go by. I found my imagination come to life.
When colors come together it feels like Synergy on a Canvas! I enjoy all the beautiful bright colors that bring an uplifting feeling and Joy!
Finding Unique shaped rocks to paint on is so much fun. I created “Spring Flowers” on this flat rock I found on a trip to Whidbey Island Washington. I love all the Spring Flowers. All the different colors are such an inspiration.
