In every creative journey, there are pieces that capture a feeling so intensely they seem to take on a life of their own. Aloura’s latest artwork, titled Determination, is one of those pieces.
At first glance, your eyes are immediately drawn to the hummingbird’s steady, dark gaze. There is no hesitation in that look—only a quiet, unwavering focus. Rendered in intricate, textured shades of emerald and deep forest green, the hummingbird stands as a symbol of resilience and strength. Behind it, a radiant backdrop of fiery amber, golden yellow, and coral florals blooms with energy, creating a breathtaking contrast between cool composure and vibrant passion.
Hummingbirds are often celebrated for their lightness, but Determination reminds us of their incredible grit, persistence, and untamed spirit. We are currently bringing this special piece to life on canvas through Gelato, and we can’t wait for it to find a home where it can inspire that same steadfast resolve every single day.
